Royal Thai Army Training And Delivery In Menominee, MI

In All, 36 Pilots And Mechanics Will Be Trained By The Company

For the next four weeks, there will be a total of 36 pilots and mechanics visiting Enstrom in Menominee, Michigan to become factory trained to fly and support Enstrom 480B turbine helicopters owned by the Royal Thai Army. They will be split into two groups, each staying 2 weeks at a time.

“The pilot and mechanic training are crucial to the success of any program,” said Bayard duPont, Enstrom Technical Fellow and Chief Flight Instructor. “We welcome this latest group with open arms. It’s about building relationships, getting to know the people at the factory, and feeling comfortable asking us when questions arise.”

While here, the group is assisted by the Enstrom Representative in Thailand, M-Landarch. They were able to coordinate this trip with the acceptance and delivery of their latest order. “The timing worked out well. We are able to support our customers and handle the acceptance of our 6 turbine training helicopters.” said Thana Dharapak of M-Landarch. The helicopters will be used for training in Menominee prior to shipping them to Thailand. Thana added “It is always a pleasure to do business with Enstrom and the great people in Menominee, MI.”

Enstrom is represented in Asia by Blake & DeJong Ltd., and in Thailand by M-Landarch Inc.
