High Performance Aircraft Awarded Expanded Sales Territory By Piper

Distributor Will Handle All Of California, Plus Other Western Areas

Piper Aircraft, Inc. recently named High Performance Aircraft, Inc. as its exclusive dealer for the state of California. With this announcement, Piper adds northern California to High Performance Aircraft’s existing Piper sales territory -- which includes southern California; Hawaii; Reno, NV; and the Nevada counties of Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, Storey and Washoe.

"High Performance Aircraft has played a vital role in Piper Aircraft’s success," said Piper President and CEO James K. Bass. "This new appointment furthers our mission to combine the best possible customer service initiatives with the highest quality general aviation aircraft available today."

"We are very honored and excited to have been selected," said Michael C. Borden, President and CEO of High Performance Aircraft. "From the time we formed High performance Aircraft in 1987, with headquarters in San Diego, California, we have compiled extensive expertise in selling and servicing hundreds of aircraft from single-engine pistons to light jets."

Piper says its decision to expand High Performance Aircraft’s geographic territory was based on the organization's customer service numbers. The planemaker notes High Performance has demonstrated a strong, focused vision in expanding its sales and service facilities to accommodate its customers’ needs.

"To accommodate our ever increasing customer base and sales, our 40,000-square foot facility is now under expansion to include a new 15,000 square-foot hangar designed and devoted exclusively to aircraft service," Borden said. "Our current service center, located only miles from the business center of San Diego, is second to none and will play a significant role in our expanding presence in northern California."

Borden said facilities in the San Francisco Bay area will open in the near future.
