Embraer Signs Maintenance Agreement For AE3007 Engines In Brazil

Engines Power ERJ 145, Legacy 600/650 Airplanes

The Embraer Executive Jets Service Center, in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, was named an authorized Rolls-Royce line maintenance center for the AE3007 engines in Brazil. The agreement allows Embraer to perform Rolls-Royce’s warranty or CorporateCare program services, which covers the cost of replacement parts, labor, as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. The ERJ 145 family of jets and the Legacy 600/650 use AE3007 engines.

“The new partnership between Embraer and Rolls-Royce seeks to assure efficient operations and convenience for our customers,” said Edson Carlos Mallaco, Director of Customer Support and Service – Embraer Executive Jets. “We are constantly investing in providing services in the region through integrated solutions and a highly qualified team. We hope to exceed the expectations of our operators.”

The service portfolio of Embraer Executive Jets was developed for the purpose of providing customers with greater peace of mind and satisfaction. The Company offers maintenance tracking tools, performance and flight operations software, and special maintenance programs, such as the Embraer Executive Care (EEC) and the Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis (AHEAD) system. The expansion of services to include the Rolls-Royce AE3007 engines in Brazil is based on the one-stop-shop concept, which seeks to enhance operational convenience for customers.

“We are delighted that Embraer has reached agreement with us for their São Jose dos Campos facility to become a Rolls-Royce authorized Service Center. We believe this has established the groundwork for all Embraer-owned Service Centers worldwide to follow suit; this complements our global strategy and further strengthens our relationship with our valued partner Embraer,” said Andrew M. Robinson, Senior Vice President, Services & Customer Support, Civil Small & Medium Engines, Rolls-Royce.
