PA Welcomes Service Center for Robinson Helicopters

Parts And Service Are Now Available From Cove Helicopter At Altoona

Altoona Blair County Airport (AOO) in Pennsylvania is now home to Cove Helicopter. As of January 1, Robinson Helicopter Company of Torrance, CA has authorized Cove Helicopter as an R22 and R44 Service and Overhaul center.

James "JC" Housel is the manager at Cove Helicopter, and a component certified technician by Robinson Helicopter. Detailed information on available services and the parts center can be accesses via Cove's website.

Cove Helicopter says it sells Robinson helicopter parts with discount pricing available, and also provides 100 hour/annual inspection, 2200/12 year inspection, scheduled maintenance, avionics upgrades, and complete Robinson component overhauls.

The general public can also contact Cove Helicopter for BFR, SFAR, Helicopter rides and sight seeing tours from the Altoona Blair County Airport.

Robinson Helicopter currently produces more helicopters annually than all of the other North American manufactures combined. In addition, Robinson has a factory overhaul program for older aircraft and conducts monthly and safety educational courses for helicopter flight instructors and maintenance technicians.

The organization has a global network of more than 110 factory-authorized dealers and 290 service centers in 50 countries, including China and Russia.
