Pilots Told Justin Bieber And His Dad To Stash The Stash

Both Refused To Put Their Pot Away On Chartered Flight

The captain and first officer of a chartered jet that was bringing Justin Bieber and his entourage from Canada to New Jersey earlier this week said that he warned the pop star and his father to put away their pot, but both refused.

In fact, according to the pilots who wished to remain anonymous, the two smoked up the cabin so badly that the crew had to put on oxygen masks in an effort to avoid testing positive for marijuana from the second hand smoke in the airplane.

CNN reports that the pilots repeatedly asked Justin and his father Jeremy Bieber to stash the stash, but said that instead both were "verbally abusive" to the flight crew. The pilot advised the flight attendant to remain close to the cockpit in an effort to have as little contact as possible with the pair.

When the plane landed, federal officials said the "detected the odor of marijuana" on the plane during a post-flight inspection, which led to a search by drug-sniffing dogs. No drugs or other illegal substances were found, but Bieber was detained for questioning for several hours by border agents. A law enforcement source said that such interview are "routine" and designed to assure people entering the country are in compliance with U.S. law.
