Diamond DA20-C1 Gets European Gross Weight Increase

Useful Load Increased By 110 Lbs

The Diamond Aircraft DA20-C1 has received European Aviation Safety Association (EASA) approval for an increased Maximum Take-off Weight of 1,764 lbs. The 110 lbs increase completely benefits the useful load, which is increased to approximately 600 lbs depending on configuration, with no adverse affect on the DA20's utility category certification.

EASA Night VFR and spin certifications are expected mid 2011.

These changes, long approved in many countries, significantly increase the usefulness of the DA20-C1 for the European market.

The DA20-C1 is a two-seat composite aircraft, available with standard and glass cockpit options. Its FAR 23 level certification, spin approval, performance and economical operation make it a favorite for high utilization flight training and personal flying, alike.
