Becker Avionics Taps Brett Gardner For Sales And Marketing

New Director To Focus On New Sales And Client Relationships

Becker Avionic Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Becker Flugfunk GmbH, Wednesday announced the hiring of Brett Gardner as new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Brett is a long-standing member of the aviation community, and as a principle member of the Becker Avionics management team will develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the North and South American markets. He will drive overall business development and focus on strengthening existing Becker Avionics client relationships.

"We are looking forward to having Brett as part of the Becker Avionics team. Brett brings a clear vision and powerful leadership to the U.S.-based management team and will be a tremendous asset to our clients and future clients," said Markus Schmitz, President and General Manager of Becker Avionics Inc. "We look forward to utilizing his strengths in the management of all aspects of sales and marketing and we are confident that he will greatly complement our existing goal of continued sales growth."

Before joining Becker Avionics, Brett was serving in the rank of a Major on voluntary assignment as an Army Reserve Company Commander with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Colorado Springs, CO.

Brett has extensive sales management experience, particularly in areas of sales and business development, and has worked for major players in the aviation industry, including MD Helicopters (Mesa, AZ), American Eurocopter (Grand Prairie, TX) and Bell Helicopter Textron (Fort Worth, TX).
Brett has a BA from the University of Colorado, holds a Commercial Rotorcraft license and earned his Executive MBA from Baylor University in Texas.
