Wins Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract From Washington

FLIR Systems says it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the US Government for an advanced version of its 9 inch stabilized electro-optical surveillance system. The contract has a maximum value of $75 million for the delivery of up to 200 systems over a five year period. The contract was competitively awarded and resulted in an initial delivery order of $328,893 for the first production representative sample and training. Subsequent orders will be based upon evaluation of the sample unit, future funding availability, and the results of competitive trials.

Initial deliveries on the contract will take place in the first quarter of 2005. All work will be performed at FLIR's facility in N. Billerica, MA.
