Bombardier Significantly Expands Engine Maintenance Capabilities

Makes New Agreement with Turbine Engine Specialists To Support Service Centers

Bombardier Business Aircraft is significantly bolstering its maintenance capabilities to provide further flexibility to its operators. Through an agreement with Turbine Engine Specialists (TES), Bombardier’s award-winning service centers in the U.S. will provide enhanced capabilities for maintenance work on Challenger 300 and Challenger 350 aircraft engines. Dedicated TES engine technicians will provide on-site support at the Dallas, Hartford, Tucson, Wichita and Fort Lauderdale facilities and accompany Bombardier’s Mobile Response Team for increased support in the U.S.

“With the increasing number of in-service Challenger 300 series aircraft, Bombardier is committed to ensuring its customers receive exceptional maintenance support to keep their aircraft flying. Through this agreement, customers will benefit from the unmatched expertise and proficiency provided by Bombardier and TES,” said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Vice President, Customer Experience, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

Skilled TES technicians at Bombardier’s U.S.-based service centers will also provide additional capabilities, including troubleshooting and repair, engine removal and reinstallation, combustor replacement and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). In an effort to reduce aircraft downtime, Bombardier will provide dedicated Challenger 300 and Challenger 350 rental engines at Bombardier’s service centers throughout North America.

“We value our customers’ peace of mind and know our aircraft best, so to reduce downtime and costs, customers can leverage our OEM knowledge and bundle engine maintenance with other Bombardier services in-house,” added Gallagher.

Standing the test of time, the Challenger 300 aircraft series is the best-selling business jet platform of the last decade. Paired with impressive high-performance attributes, the Challenger 350 aircraft is designed to access challenging airfields, climb faster, and cruise efficiently while providing a smooth ride.
