Enstrom Works With Industry To Prevent Helo Accidents

Heli-Expo Safety Class Focused On Unique Qualities Of Rotorcraft

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation tells ANN the company teamed with Sharkey's Helicopters, Inc., AirSure Limited, and AIG Aviation, Inc., to sponsoring an important safety program during the recent Heli-Expo 2007.

The program was taught by Shawn Coyle, training director for Eagle Eye Solutions, LLC. Coyle, a rotorcraft test pilot, is also the author of the book "Cyclic & Collective.

"Enstrom, Sharkey's and AirSure Limited have sponsored safety classes at the last three HAI conventions", said Enstrom's Bayard duPont, Director of Product Support and CFI. "We have committed to making the helicopter industry safer by providing education to go along with our safest in the industry product. So far, we have sponsored and/or conducted five safety related back to basics courses in and out of HAI including this year. The seminar supports the HAI initiative and continues our commitment to reducing helicopter accidents in the long term."

Founded in 1959, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation manufactures a complete line of helicopters including the three-place, piston-powered F28F and 280FX, and the turbine-powered 480B.
