Embry-Riddle Worldwide Expands Reach To Morocco

Inks Deal With Mohammed VI International Academy Of Civil Aviation (AIAC)

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide has expanded its educational offerings in Africa, thanks to a new relationship with the Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation (AIAC) in Casablanca, Morocco.

Under the agreement, students will initially have the opportunity to pursue an online Master of Science in Management. Once a cohort is established, Embry-Riddle Worldwide will provide face-to-face instruction at the school’s campus in Casablanca.

“Morocco is known as the aviation training center in Africa, a place where many African nations send people to obtain their aviation training,” said Bob Walton, executive director of campus operations for Embry-Riddle Worldwide. “The Academy of Civil Aviation hosts training for many of the world’s international aviation organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization, Airports Council International and International Airport Transport Association. Working with the academy is a natural fit for Embry-Riddle to continue its international growth.”

The Academy of Civil Aviation is the second education provider in Africa to join forces with the university. In November, Embry-Riddle Worldwide entered into an agreement with the Aerospace Leadership Academy in South Africa to offer online dual enrollment courses to high school students.
