Tuesday was a busy day for the planemaker... as in addition to buying the assets of Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing, Cessna also announced it will partner with China's Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC), a subsidiary of the government-owned China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) consortium of aircraft manufacturers, to build its upcoming Model 162 "SkyCatcher" light sport aircraft.
