BA Halves All-Business Service Between New York And London

Cuts Go Into Effect In October

British Airways has cut the number of all-business class flights it offers between New York City and London in half, according to the airline.

Buying Business Travel reports that the reduction means that the flights will be offered weekdays from two to one. The airline plans to continue to fly between the two cities 12 times per day rather than 13.

The flight that will be cancelled is the 1600 (local time) departure from London City Airport.

A spokesperson said the airline constantly evaluates "the commercial performance of our entire global network and will increase or reduce our schedules as we feel appropriate."
