SAFE Receives Grant From Wolf Aviation Fund

Funding To Support The Pilot Training Reform Symposium

The Wolf Aviation Fund recently awarded the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) a grant to help with costs associated with the Pilot Training Reform Symposium project. According to SAFE Chair Doug Stewart, "The Wolf Aviation Fund received applications from many strong candidates this year, so we are very grateful to the Wolf Fund for including our symposium among its list of grant recipients." Stewart continued, "The money will help offset the cost of this important symposium."

According to the Wolf Fund website, the Alfred L. and Constance C. Wolf Aviation Fund was created to help individuals work together in support of general aviation. Grants support "individuals and groups doing great work shaping the future of aviation."

The Pilot Training Reform Symposium will convene at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Atlanta, GA on May 4-5, 2011. The invitation-only event is expected to draw the industry's top aviation professionals in a collaborative effort to secure a healthy future for general aviation.
