AAR Airlift To Obtain Critical Engine & Component Support From Heli-One

Three-Year Agreement Includes Renewal Options

AR Airlift has selected Heli-One to provide vital CT58 engine and component support for its 20 Sikorsky S-61 aircraft. The agreement spans three years and includes renewal options.

AAR Airlift and Heli-One combine expertise to maintain safe and consistent operations in challenging environments. AAR Airlift operates a fleet of S-61s transporting personnel, supplies and mail in support of contingency operations worldwide.

“We are often flying in unforgiving places and it is critical that we can trust our equipment and the people who service it,” said Jeff Wehrenberg, chief operating officer for AAR Airlift Group. “For the past six years Heli-One has consistently earned our confidence. Whatever our customers’ missions, we must keep aircraft flying and return grounded helicopters to service without delay.”

“We are continually creating, applying and improving techniques specific to AAR Airlift, so that we are always increasing reliability and reducing turnaround times for the customer,” said Anthony DiNota, vice president, Commercial Group, Heli-One.

The agreement between AAR Airlift and Heli-One includes dedicated customer support; access to Heli-One’s industry-leading engineering knowledge and capabilities; and an extensive parts inventory to keep AAR Airlift’s S-61 helicopters in the air.
