Acrohelipro Global Services Inc.
announced the appointment this week of Phil Kemp as Vice-President
(VP) Sales, with responsibility for all product lines supported by
the company's operations throughout North America.
"The in-depth knowledge, expertise and dedication to
customer-service Phil brings to the VP Sales position enables
Acrohelipro to further expand into new markets, and enhances our
ability to develop and market new, cutting-edge products and
services to helicopter operators around the globe," says John
MacDougall, President of Acrohelipro.
Over 31 years, Kemp has worked with some of the industry's major
operators and MRO providers in capacities ranging from: licensed
maintenance engineer, Director of Maintenance, General Manager and
finance/appraisal consultant. His detailed knowledge spans
practically every model of helicopter associated with the Bell,
Eurocopter, Sikorsky, MD and Westland platforms; in operations
including S-61 logging and off-shore oil, fire-fighting, search and
rescue and utility environments.
In his previous position as General Manager for
Acrohelipro-Langley, Kemp held responsibility for all areas of the
operation including maintenance, structures, manufacturing,
completions and avionics, and all aspects of corporate sales.
Acrohelipro says Kemp's expertise and creative approach to
problem-solving are much sought-after within the industry, as
illustrated by requests for his ongoing participation and
leadership on numerous Helicopter Association International
committees, as well as an assortment of national and regional
rotary-wing industry and safety working groups. A true helicopter
enthusiast, Kemp is also a licensed helicopter pilot.
