Gulfstream G650 Added To Jet Aviation Flight Services Charter Fleet

Can Carry 13 Passengers Or Sleep Five

A Gulfstream G650 has been added to Jet Aviation Flight Services' U.S. Part 135 air carrier certificate. The new aircraft is available for charter and will be managed by the Jet Aviation Van Nuys office.

The G650 charter aircraft accommodates up to 13 passengers or sleeps five comfortably and includes a crew rest area to provide comfort and space for long-distance trips. The aircraft is outfitted with a leather interior and the cabin can be divided for added privacy. In addition to the essential passenger amenities, the aircraft is equipped with an exceptional entertainment system featuring Airshow, DVD player, sound system and a connection for iPods and MP3 players, flight phone and satellite communications. The aircraft has a range of up to 7,000 nautical miles, which is suitable for trips from Van Nuys to Madrid, Melbourne and Johannesburg to highlight a few.

“We are thrilled to be one of a select few aircraft management companies to have a G650 on its air carrier certificate,” said Don Haloburdo, vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation Flight Services. “Just as our charter clients have varied requirements, we strive to expand our fleet and provide charter options to meet their needs. It is our pleasure to offer our clients the newest aircraft on the market for ultra-long-range charter trips.” “The G650 is a state-of-the art aircraft that covers great distances at a faster speed,” said Jon Winthrop, vice president and managing director of the Van Nuys office, responsible for the Western Region / Pacific. “We completed our trip from Teterboro, NJ, to Van Nuys, CA in just 4 hours and 18 minutes. This is a testament to the quality of the aircraft and time-saving value for our clients."
