FAI Aviation Group Appoints New Brand Ambassador

Former Formula One World Champion Mika Häkkinen To Take That Role

FAI Aviation Group, a provider of mission-critical aviation services, has named its first celebrity brand ambassador as former Formula One World Champion, Mika Häkkinen. Finnish born Häkkinen, nicknamed "The Flying Finn" was Formula One World Champion in 1998 and 1999, driving for McLaren.

In his role as brand ambassador, Häkkinen will promote FAI’s services with a particular focus on Aircraft Charter and Management. "Mika is a natural fit for the FAI brand with his track record of success in Formula One, his passion for excellence and focus on precision and performance. With his talent, we are delighted to be partnering with him and I look forward to strengthening the FAI brand together,” said Siegfried Axtmann, Founder and Chairman of the FAI Aviation Group.

“I have been a great advocate of business aviation for some years – it has enabled me to travel freely and flexibly particularly during my racing career," Häkkinen said. "I am proud to be representing FAI. It’s competency as a business jet operator in terms of service excellence, attention to detail and emphasis on safety are impressive. I look forward to helping the brand go from strength to strength.”

FAI Aviation Group operates Germany's largest fleet of business jets including seven Bombardier Global Express, five Bombardier Challenger 604s, one Challenger 850, 11 Learjet 60 series, plus one Premier 1A and one King Air 350. The company is headquartered at Albrecht Duerer Intl. Airport in Nuremberg, Germany.
