Teen Arrested After Snorting Cocaine On Tray Table During Flight

Who Knew Passports Could Be So Useful?

As a FlyGlobespan jet was in the process of taxiing to the runway for takeoff at Edinburgh Airport Tuesday, a teenager apparently thought it was time to party.

As his fellow passengers looked on, a 19 year-old man casually flipped down his tray table and proceed to snort cocaine -- using his passport.

When the cabin crew was notified, the pilot promptly returned to the gate, according to The Scotsman.

Once back at the gate, police boarded the flight and questioned passengers for an hour before removing them all so narcotics dogs could search the aircraft.

A FlyGlobespan spokesman said, "Following a complaint, a senior stewardess told the captain who immediately aborted take-off. The passenger in question was removed."

The teen reportedly admitted he had, indeed snorted cocaine and was arrested.
