Clay Lacy Aviation Receives Prestigious 'Star Of The Valley' Award

Presented For 45 Years Of Aviation Leadership And Innovation

Clay Lacy Aviation has been honored by the Valley Economic Alliance with its prestigious "Star of the Valley Award" for 45 years of leadership and innovation in the business aviation industry. The award was presented at a black-tie event held on June 29 at Van Nuys Airport celebrating the company's contributions to the economic growth of the San Fernando Valley.

In 1964, aviation icon Clay Lacy (pictured) landed the first Learjet at Van Nuys Airport to launch a new era in corporate air transportation and mobility.  Four years later with a single Learjet, Clay Lacy Aviation was founded as the first jet charter service on the West Coast. Today, Clay Lacy Aviation sets the standard for corporate aviation services, operating a fleet of more than 70 aircraft around the globe. With more than 300 employees, the company delivers superior aviation services, ranging from worldwide jet charter and aircraft management to aircraft maintenance and avionics.

The company's fixed base operator facilities at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles and Boeing Field in Seattle offer aircraft charter, management, sales, maintenance, avionics, and aircraft interior and completion services. Clay Lacy Aviation offers additional jet charter, management and maintenance services in Denver, CO; Orange County and New York City, NY; and San Diego and Santa Barbara, CA.
