ALPA Congratulates President-Elect Joe Biden, New Congress

Let The Congrats Begin... 'Airline Pilots Ready to Continue to Advance Aviation Safety'

Ya know that this was bound to start, in earnest, now that the general media has decided the election for us all...

Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) president Capt. Joe DePete issued the following statement regarding the recent U.S. elections:

“As the world’s largest nongovernmental aviation safety organization, ALPA looks forward to working with President-Elect Joe Biden and the newly elected Congress to strengthen the U.S. airline industry and protect the frontline aviation workers who have kept our economy moving during these unprecedented times.

“Today, ALPA’s top priority remains unchanged—working with all elected officials to do whatever it takes to pass an extension of the Payroll Support Program (PSP) and protect American jobs. ALPA continues to implore Congress to move legislation that extends the PSP to help lessen the economic and professional hardship for tens of thousands of aviation workers who have been furloughed through no fault of their own.”
