GMG Airlines Signs Engine Management Program Agreement With Pratt & Whitney

Long-Term Plan Covers Existing, Future Engines For The Airline

Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners (GSP) signed an exclusive, five-year Engine Management Program agreement Tuesday with GMG Airlines for its current fleet of PW4060 and JT8D-200 engines. The agreement also covers future aircraft models that GMG Airlines will operate.

"Pratt & Whitney's Engine Management Program will help us make informed decisions and track critical data for our growing fleet," said Shahab Sattar, managing director, GMG Airlines. "We look forward to this program improving maintenance costs and allowing us to continue providing superior service to our domestic and international customers."

Pratt & Whitney GSP uses its web-based Advanced Diagnostics & Engine Management (ADEM) tools to provide engine performance monitoring services. Pratt & Whitney's team of expert analysts evaluate the data to monitor and forecast engine health and maintenance. Through detailed analysis of engine data, Engine Management Programs help operators achieve superior reliability and lower maintenance costs throughout the lives of their engines.

GMG Airlines is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The airline currently operates services to Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
