Virgin Charter Unveils First-Ever GDS Solution For Private Aviation

Private Charter Online Marketplace Makes Booking Charter Flights Easy

From the NBTA International Convention & Exposition, full-service online charter booking tool Virgin Charter announced the first ever GDS solution for private jet charter.

"We are launching our GDS solution to meet the unprecedented increase in demand for private charter flights as more businesses embrace private air travel as a productivity tool," said Scott Duffy, founder and CEO, Virgin Charter. "Charter travel gives business travelers the ability to have meetings in multiple cities in short period of time, conduct business en route, and enables them to get into more cities and through airports quickly. Companies also find cost-efficiencies for large groups traveling together."

The advancement includes a real-time pricing engine for non-scheduled private aviation. Real-time pricing allows buyers to receive immediate quotes from multiple operators across the US. This new real-time pricing element in combination with users’ ability to manage their entire booking online from end-to-end makes it easier than ever to book private air charter.

The GDS solution was made possible by recent software integrations with two leading aviation scheduling systems. These key partnerships will allow operators to provide and post quotes through their existing software into the Virgin Charter Marketplace.
