DIA Concourse Closed After Security Threat

Officials: FBI Agent Lost His Gun

This isn't going to look good on somebody's record. The TSA blames an FBI agent for causing a security shutdown at Denver International Airport (CO) Saturday night. The shutdown caused 12 flights to be delayed and passengers were forced to stay in place.

The agent misplaced his bag, containing his pistol and his bureau credentials. The missing items were found, apparently untouched, about a half-hour later. They were in the restaurant where the agent had been eating earlier.

All passengers were eventually allowed to leave the concourse. All flights were eventually released. As for the agent himself, the FBI isn't saying exactly what kind of trouble he's in.
