M7 Aerospace Repeat Winner Of Supply Management Award

Presented With EISM Award Last Month

For the second year in a row, M7 Aerospace has been selected to receive the Excellence in Innovative Supply Management (EISM) Award from the Southwest Forum and the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) in Tempe, AZ.

M7 was one of just four companies to win the award this year, which is given annually to recognize and reward organizational excellence in the purchasing and supply management field.  The award was presented during the 61st annual SouthWest Supply Management Conference, October 25-26, in Galveston, TX.

"Achieving this second award showcases M7’s innovative best practices on a national and regional level and promotes the purchasing/supply management department within the company and industry" said Brian Dannewitz, Vice President of Supply Chain Management for M7 Aerospace.

The ISM and the Southwest Forum jointly sponsor the EISM award, which encourages the development of organizational excellence and innovation, recognizes purchasing and supply management best practices, and promotes continued development of high organizational standards.

Based in San Antonio, M& Aerospace operates six business units, including Government Logistics Support Contracting; Aerostructures Manufacturing; Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul; Aircraft Parts and Service Support; Engineering Services and M7 Visual Intelligence Remote Sensing.

Innovative and effective supply chain management is important in M7’s Aerostructures Manufacturing and in Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul businesses, where the timely availability of parts and supplies are critical to success, and in the Aircraft Parts and Service Support business which supplies parts to keep a fleet of nearly 750 Fairchild Metro and Merlin aircraft flying around the world.
