John & Martha Help Orient New Drone Pilots Into the World of FAA Regulations
King Schools has been hearing some distressing news from Flight Examiners who are seeing greater numbers of unprepared pilot applicants thanks to low-quality - but free - content online.
King Schools aims to remedy the situation with a new strategy: Free, vetted content from the family. Their new free courses draw on 50 years of King's teaching experience, putting up 200 public videos on their company YouTube channel. Their subsection of free pilot courses has grown to 18 in all, with the recent addition of 3 brand new ones. The latest additions include "Drone Part 107 Regulations" and "Private Pilot Ground Reference Maneuvers" and a brand-new playlist, "How To Become a Pilot."
The Drone Part 107 course includes 8 videos, presented by John and Martha King. It's a simple one-stop course showing how to fly UAVs commercially in clear and easily-understood terminology. That should prove a simple method for kids cracking open their new drones, and older hobbyists trying to make sense of new FAA regulations alike.

Of course, the thought behind the course is that it's free advertising - those who love the free sample will hopefully go on to enroll in King's Part 107 course for a few dollars more.
