Heven Drones Announces Land/Air Combination Carry Drone

H100R Designed to Carry Tracked and Wheeled UAVs for Remote Deployment

Heven Drones revealed their new "full turnkey robotic solution with land and air integration" at the Israeli defense exhibition, showing off a combination aerial drone and tracked UAV.

The drone contains 8 electric motors surrounding a carriage bay with a dropping ramp for wheeled and tracked vehicles, allowing small, lightweight payloads to be air-dropped while human operators remain safely away. The combination allows for the deployment of terrestrial, remotely-piloted systems from afar, without the corresponding depletion that would arise from driving them to the target under their own power.

Bentzion Levinson, CEO said his outfit "set out to develop and bring to market unique drones which aren’t just flying cameras but flying robots that can complete a variety of tasks." Their integration with another local company, Roboteam, has paid dividends through enhanced automation and improved capabilities for self-sufficient drones. "Our collaboration with Roboteam brings our vision one step closer with land and aerial robots working together to create a fully operational product that can complete tasks from the ground and the air.”

Roboteam's COO, Matan Shirvi, said the system is a perfect fit for missions that require the insertion of small, remotely-piloted vehicles when standoff is key. "This collaboration allows for one unmanned aerial & ground complete system for delivering a significant payload to the battlefield with EOD capabilities. You can fly when you want to fly, drive when you want to drive, with one controller, one software and one radio – a single interface for maximizing the operational range in the most difficult environments and complex terrains.”
