Good Grades, Community Activism Pay Off For Andrew Cousins

He's The Winner Of GAMA's Edward W. Stimpson Aviation Excellence Award

GAMA says it's selected Andrew Cousins, a senior in Newberry, South Carolina, as the 2005 Edward W. Stimpson "Aviation Excellence" Award recipient.

A panel of aviation professionals chose Cousins for maintaining his solid scholastic record, completing college courses while still in high school and taking an active role in his church and community. His extracurricular activities include participating in the band and choir at church, helping the needy by volunteering at a food bank, and being a leader in his local Boy Scout organization.

As a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Cousins plans to earn his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science. His dream of becoming a corporate pilot is certain to become a reality with his high level of commitment and determination.

Andrew lives with his parents, Mike and Lynne Cousins in Newberry, South Carolina.
