Flight Attendants At Spirit Airlines To Vote On Tentative Agreement

Five-Year Pact Reached With Assistance Of NMB

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) has reached a tentative agreement with Spirit Airlines management on a five year agreement that would cover over 2,200 flight attendants. The agreement, reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board, contains wage increases and work rule improvements.

"Spirit Airlines flight attendants were committed to achieving an agreement which recognizes our contributions to make our airline profitable and provides long overdue wage increases," said Jorge Buchelli, AFA President at Spirit Airlines. "We look forward to presenting this tentative agreement to our membership."

The tentative agreement will be presented to the Spirit Airlines flight attendant leadership. Once approved, further details will be released, and the deal will be sent to the membership for ratification.
