AutoFlight Delivers eVTOL to First Customer

Chinese Manufacturer Picking Up Speed, Interest for 5-Passenger Prosperity Aircraft

Chinese eVTOL manufacturer AutoFlight has announced the first delivery of one of its Prosperity aircraft, calling it a world first for a "ton-class eVTOL aircraft".

The Prosperity sports seating for 5, making it one of the more useful and monetizable options among so many different eVTOL offerings in Asia. The delivery was made to an unidentified operator in Japan, and AutoFlight hints that the new aircraft will be used for demo flights at the 2025 Osaka World Expo. Their CarryAll aircraft, the cargo variant of the Prosperity aircraft, got its Type Certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, paving the way for them to capitalize on the excitement surrounding last-mile deliveries and semiautonomous flight.

Tian Yu, founder and co-chairman of AutoFlight, said: "The official delivery of the first Prosperity to a customer signifies a new chapter for AutoFlight as we begin to ship our innovative electric aircraft to global markets. Additionally, on the cargo side the receipt of orders for over 200 CarryAll planes already demonstrates a very strong market demand for our products."

Tian said his thanks for all the support felt from their home-team regulator. "Successfully completing this certification was a lengthy and extremely rigorous process and I would like to thank the review team and all my colleagues for their painstaking efforts. This achievement establishes a robust foundation for AutoFlight's forthcoming large-scale commercial operations."
