Educated Owner Video Series Out On DVD

New Format Will Be Easier To Navigate

Approach Aviation Tuesday released its The Educated Owner Video Series on DVD.

The Educated Owner Video Series is the fist video series dedicated to helping aircraft owners and pilots increase safety and reduce the costs associated with aircraft ownership. Approach Aviation has re-edited the series for DVD, allowing viewers to jump directly to key chapters and topics contained within each volume.

Approach says the Educated Owner Video Series has been extremely successful, selling over 3,000 copies to date.  In addition to aircraft owners, pilots and maintenance professionals, a long list of colleges and flight programs have adopted The Educated Owner Video Series as a way to teach students all about aircraft ownership and maintenance. The list of institutions includes the Texas Department of Transportation, Cincinnati State Technical College, Centennial College, Holland College and Tarrant County College.

"The Educated Owner Video Series is a perfect fit for the DVD format." said Jeff Simon, President of Approach Aviation. "These videos are not a one-time learning tool. Our customers have told us that they often re-watch certain chapters to review how to do specific maintenance tasks. The new DVDs make this much easier. If they need to change a tire, they can jump directly to the Wheel and Tire Maintenance chapter to see exactly how it’s done".

  • The Educated Owner Video Series:
  • Volume I: Preventive Maintenance
  • Volume II: The Annual Inspection
  • Volume III Introduction to Aircraft Ownership
