Upgraded: Todd McGahey, John Rahilly

Dassault Falcon's New Vice Presidents

Dassault Falcon's vision for a "world class" East Coast service facility took another big step forward recently with the appointment of Todd McGahey as Vice President and General Manager.

"We're very pleased Todd will be leading our team," said Jack Young, president of Dassault Falcon Jet - Wilmington.  "Todd's experience and success in the industry is a tremendous bonus as we continue our efforts to transform Wilmington into a state-of-the-art service center."

McGahey comes to Dassault from General Electric Engine Services where he was responsible for Garrett Aviation Services in Springfield, Illinois, and three satellite facilities, managing 475 employees across four states. He received both the GE Leadership Award and the FAA Flight Standards Division award for "Commitment to Quality, Service and Productivity" in 2002.  He has been with GE since 1985.

McGahey will be responsible for managing the 200 service people currently employed there as well as oversee future development and expansion programs. Contracts will soon be underway for a new, 40,000 square-foot, two-bay paint hangar, capable of handling current and future Falcons as well as Gulfstreams, Challengers and smaller aircraft.

"We want to provide exceptional service for all operators," said Young. "And we are investing the resources necessary to make this happen. When we are through, it will be a full scope, one-stop service and modification and refurbishment service center."

John Rahilly has been named Vice President, National Sales and Marketing for Dassault Falcon's aircraft service network organization. Rahilly brings considerable experience to Dassault, having managed the largest independent authorized Falcon Service Centers at the former KC Aviation, and more recently, Mercury Air Center. Service sales teams in both Little Rock and Wilmington (DE), will report directly to Rahilly, who will be based in the Deleware center.

"John's broad industry experience, combined with his extensive working relationship with Falcon operators, gives him a unique perspective on customer expectations," said Jack Young, president of Dassault Falcon - Wilmington. "Falcon operators expect a high level of service and attention from our factory-owned facilities, and John will lead the charge to make sure they receive it."

"John was selected, in part, because his vision for the ideal working relationship with customers matched our own," said Gerry Goguen, Sr. Vice President of Customer Service. "His primary goal at Dassault Falcon will be to integrate the sales and marketing functions of our two, factory-owned service facilities into a smooth, unified operation. We want to exceed expectations in quality and turn-around time while providing superior value and a high level customer experience."

Rahilly has over 25 years' experience in corporate aviation. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations for Mercury Air Centers, but the bulk of his career was at KC Aviation, where he served as president until Gulfstream acquired it in 1998. It was there Rahilly gained an international reputation among operators for quality and customer satisfaction. Among his notable achievements at KC Aviation was the smooth integration of service and operations between KC's Appleton and Dallas facilities.
