Segmen Flight Academy Stands Up Flight Training Operations In Turkey

Five Cessna Skyhawk Aircraft Comprise The Training Fleet

Turkey-based Segmen Flight Academy recently began flight training operations after taking delivery of five new Cessna Skyhawk 172 aircraft in 2015. These five Skyhawks are being used for primary flight training, featuring the proven and dependable G1000 avionics system.

“Segmen Flight Academy is considered a pioneer in bringing flight training to Turkey,” said Doug May, vice president, Piston Aircraft. “With the help of our long-time Authorized Sales Representative in the region, EMAIR Havacilik ve Ticaret AS (EMAIR), we look forward to providing this flight academy with the ultimate training aircraft, the Cessna Skyhawk, to continue growing the flight training market.”

Founded in 2015, Segmen Flight Academy maintains its own airfield to provide flight training and theoretical pilot training in cooperation with regional universities.
