decision by EADS directors not to accept government launch aid for

EADS Directors Vote To Go Without Government Funding -- For
Now
Seeking to diffuse the trade tensions between the US and EU over
aircraft manufacturer subsidies, Airbus parent company EADS decided
Thursday to forego government loans for the development of the A350
-- for the time being. EADS called its move "a new window of
opportunity" in the financing spat that has the US and Europe
snarling at each other in World Trade Organization Court.

What's The Single-Engine Piston Market Looking For?
Working diligently to update its product line, Cessna executives
said Tuesday they plan to add a "brand-new, next-generation"
single-engine piston aircraft to their line, according to a report
in the Wichita Eagle. The company also indicated it will introduce
a new aircraft -- a derivative of an existing model -- at AOPA Expo
in Tampa next month.
