Archos Says New Drone Coming In October

Entry-Level Aircraft Offers FPV

A new FPV UAV is expected to hit the market in October from Archos.

According to the company website, the aircraft will fly up to 150 feet in altitude and reach speeds of 15 miles per hour. It is equipped with a 1MP camera that the company says is capable of creating high-definition 1280x720p videos at 20 frames per second.

The Archos Drone can be controlled with a provided remote or through a smartphone app. A smartphone can be attached to the controller for an FPV experience flying the UAV.

The Archos Drone has a flight time of 7-9 minutes, according to the company, and recharges through a USB adaptor.

The aircraft will reportedly retail for about $104 and is will be available next month from the company website and other online retailers.
