Three Lost In Indiana Mishap

DEA's Indianapolis Chief Among Casualties

Federal investigators were on the scene Sunday, searching for clues in the crash of a general aviation aircraft in Bible Grove (MO) over the weekend.

The Beechcraft A36 was flying from Winner (SD) to Anderson (IN) when it went down at approximately 2045 local Friday night, not far from where a Corporate Airlines Jetstream 32 went down October 20th, killing 13 of the 15 people on board.

The victims were identified as pilot Bill Shearer of Anderson (IN), Dr. Ronald Kracke, of Pendleton (IN) and Armand McClintock, the head of the Drug Enforcement Agency in Indianapolis.

The aircraft was reportedly flying through or around heavy weather in the Kirksville area when it was lost. The NTSB and FAA were on the scene Sunday, looking for clues about the cause of the accident.
