A Job You Might Not Be Able To Tell Anyone You Have

'Janet' Is Hiring Pilots To Fly For USAF Secret Airline

The U.S. Air Force operates a fleet of Boeing 737-600 and smaller airplanes that carry military and civilian personnel between McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas and a small number of vital military research bases ... including Area 51 at Groom Lake, NV.

But not much else is known about Janet (Just Another Non-Existent Terminal) ... the unofficial name of the airline, and that's the way the Air Force likes it.

But like all airlines, Janet needs pilots, and a story on the website of the Tactical Air Network reports that they're hiring.

AECOM, a private defense contractor, recently listed a First Officer position on its website's career page. The listing requires a background check and the ability to hold a Top Secret clearance from the U.S. government. If you're qualified in the Boeing 737 and have at least 2,000 total fixed-wing hours, of which 1,000 are in jet aircraft, and hold a current medical, you likely meet the minimum qualifications for the job. High performance jet time is listed as a preferred qualification.

The job is based out of Las Vegas. So if you don't mind never telling anyone where you're flying or when ... Janet may be just the gig you're looking for.
