ALTO Aviation Struts New Cabin Audio Soundbar for Business Aircraft

Soundbar Offers 31”, 40” Solution to Single-Point Audio Installs

ALTO Aviation has once again brought out an improvement to the A/V entertainment installations of medium to large-cabin aircraft, this time showing off a pair of ALTO Soundbars for fitment under monitors or in furniture.

The Soundbar comes in a 31 and 40 inch length, with each sporting a trio of TSO-certified ALTO ASP-250 speakers, an ALTO amplifier, and 2 subwoofers. That should grant the best blend of power, listenability, and clarity in a size-constrained package, striking an easy balance between final audio quality, output, and simplicity of installation. The Soundbar, when placed correctly, offers ‘outstanding output’ with minimal distortion, solid sensitivity, and efficient powering. ALTO offers the systems with a roster of colors and textures to help blend the aftermarket equipment into existing cabin furnishings. The ALTO Soundbar is marketed for pretty much any configuration that sees need for it, from private jets operators looking for a single-point sound installation to expansive ultralarge bizjets with seating for dozens. ALTO says they’ve even seen their gear in the Boeing Business Jet 757, which isn’t too surprising given the limited availability of audio-nerd-approved gear in the bizjet scene. The system can be installed on AC or DC power, too, without the need for a separate transformer.

"We are very excited about the positive feedback on the ALTO Soundbar cabin audio system. Our authorized installers' continued support and trust in our offering means everything to us. Knowing that we add value to their aircraft inspires us to continue providing new passenger-centric listening experiences, developing audio products and solutions designed with simplicity and unrivaled performance in mind," said Kevin Hayes, VP of sales and marketing.
