FlightSafety's Embraer Legacy 650 Simulator In Paris Receives Level D Approvals

FAA And EASA Both Greenlight Use Of The Full Flight Simulator

FlightSafety International and Embraer announce that the Legacy 650 simulator located at the Paris-Le Bourget Learning Center has been qualified to Level D by EASA and the FAA.

“The Level D qualification by EASA and the FAA of our Legacy 650 simulator located in Paris further enhances the benefits FlightSafety provides to operators of Embraer aircraft around the world,” said David Davenport, Executive Vice President.

“The Legacy 650 simulator in Europe illustrates our commitment to delivering world-class training to our customers,” said Waldir Gomes Gonçalves, Senior Vice President, Customer Support and Services Worldwide, Embraer Executive Jets. “This is one more great achievement from the partnership between Embraer and FlightSafety to serve our mutual customers. We are continually expanding our global network to create advanced training programs that exceed industry standards.”

FlightSafety provides Legacy 650 training in Paris and St. Louis, Missouri. The programs offered include initial, recurrent and update training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants. The simulators are equipped with FlightSafety’s latest advances in technology including the VITAL 1100 visual system.

FlightSafety serves Embraer as its factory-authorized training provider for the E-Jets family of commercial jets, as well as the Lineage and Legacy executive jets. FlightSafety has 28 simulators for Embraer aircraft located in Brazil, France, the Netherlands, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Paris-Le Bourget Center offers training for the Embraer EMB 120, ERJ 145, E-Jets 170, E-Jets 190, Legacy 600, Legacy 650 and Lineage 1000. It also offers a wide range of crew emergency and flight attendant training using a Cabin Trainer for the Embraer E-Jets 170 and 190.
