Bill Shuert Joins Sandia Aerospace

Will Take Role Of Manufacturing And Service Manager

Bill Shuert is joining Sandia Aerospace following a 34-year career with the Air Force National Guard.

Shuert, who retired as a Lt. Colonel, is a private pilot and licensed A&P. He owns a Cessna 150 which he maintains and flies on a regular basis.

Shuert is a founding member of the New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Association where he was instrumental in organizing the NM Aviation Career Expo.  In the three years since its inception the NM Career Expo has grown to be the largest event of its kind in the United States, hosting over 2000 students.  Students are exposed to the opportunities in the Aviation and Aerospace industries and importance of a STEM education.

Shuert resides in Edgewood, NM with his wife Pattie of 32 years.  They have two daughters and two grandsons.
