Air Force Association Launches 'Airman For Life' Podcast Series

First Episode Focuses On Airpower Superiority

The Air Force Association (AFA) has launched its new "Airman for Life" podcast series with its inaugural episode on Airpower Superiority.

The Airman for Life podcast series is AFA's first podcast initiative, with a goal of reaching a broader audience with its message and mission of educating, advocating and supporting a dominant Air Force.

"AFA is the professional development association for Airmen, and podcasts offer a unique opportunity for AFA to reach our members throughout the country to provide unique insights on Air Force topics," said Bridget Dongu, AFA's Director of Communications.

AFA's podcast series, presented by Lockheed Martin, will feature interviews with aerospace experts and thought leaders on professional development, primarily focusing on Air Force and AFA top issues.

"At Lockheed Martin, we are proud to support the important role the Air Force Association plays in engaging current, retired and future Airmen in conversations critical to the United States Air Force," said Joe LaMarca, vice president Communications, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. "As a retired USAF officer, I see the 'Airman for Life' podcast series as an excellent new channel to broaden the reach and capture the passion of thought leaders and decision makers supporting our National Defense Strategy."

Vago Muradian, founder and editor of Defense and Aerospace Report, moderated the podcast's first episode, including a panel with Lt Gen Bruce "Orville" Wright, USAF (Ret.), former Commander 5th Air Force and US Air Force Japan; Dr. Rebecca Grant, President of IRIS Independent Research; and Lt Col David Berke, USMC (Ret)., an F-35 Consultant.
