Bay Area Locations Identified, Kilroy Oyster Point to be Hub
eVTOL aircraft leader Archer and Kilroy Realty announced plans to connect five strategic locations in the San Francisco Bay Area for an urban air mobility network that will enable commuter transit with 10-20 flights instead of driving and hour or more.

The network hub will be at Kilroy Oyster Point in South San Francisco and provide air taxi service to vertiports in Livermore, San Jose, Oakland, and Napa.
The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that identifies Oyster Point in Kilroy’s South San Francisco project as the critical hub of the network, and are evaluating a proposed waterfront hub where an Acher vertiport will be colocated with facilities for electric ferry service operations. The MOU demonstrates Kilroy’s support for such a “Sea Portal” hub that will combine air and sea-based transportation in a renewable energy-powered sustainable port facility.
The planned network leverages Archer’s extensive relationships with infrastructure and operations partners around the area. It is anticipated to stimulate new opportunities for people living in or visiting the region with enhanced and convenient access for travel to places and events without a daunting drive.

Bryan Bernhard, Archer’s Chief Growth & Infrastructure Officer said, "We're thrilled to collaborate with Kilroy on developing infrastructure to support Archer’s air mobility service and laying the foundation for a robust network of landing sites throughout the Bay Area. I applaud Kilroy’s vision as one of the first developers to see our mobility service as a differentiating amenity for their real estate portfolio.”
Kilroy's Chief Executive Officer Angela Aman concurred, adding, "We are excited to work with Archer to explore opportunities to add eVTOL service to Kilroy Oyster Point. We believe that this innovative and sustainable service has the potential to provide exceptional convenience and optionality to current and future tenants at the project, further differentiating Kilroy Oyster Point within the South San Francisco market."
