2020 Airborne Special Programming Initiative Adds 'Airborne-Flight Training'

'Airborne-Flight Training' Is the First Special Interest 'Airborne' News Program to Be Released In 2020

The Aero-News Network's Airborne Daily News Video programming slate has expanded... dramatically. Already in its second decade of serving the expanding interests of both the aviation and aerospace communities, Airborne's 'Aero-Verse' approach will commit itself to 5 new special interest weeklies in 2020.

The first new special interest Airborne news program will dedicate itself to the growing, (as well as turbulent) world of flight training. The new program will cover the vast interests of the industry… from subjects of exceptional interest to new and continuing flight students, to the business of flight training itself… not to mention the constant issues brought forth by the implementation and changes to the currently regulatory environment by National aviation agencies like the USA's FAA and Canada's Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA).

Debuting today (April 8th, 2020), 'Airborne-Flight Training' (A-FT) will webcast bi-monthly for a month or two while the program undergoes a 'shake-down' and gets all aspects of the system working properly while everyone is still sheltering at home, and will then adopt a weekly schedule by early summer. At least one more Airborne Special Interest News Program will be introduced in that time frame, with others joining the roster throughout the year.

One of the more pertinent aspects of these special interest programs, as pioneered with Airborne's two Drone oriented programs, produced with partners like the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), is its relationships with industry experts with critical knowledge and access to the persons, companies, and agencies of critical importance to the targeted program segments.

Like those efforts, 'A-FT' will be partnering with true leaders in the Flight Training field and is pleased to announce a number of early endorsements and partnerships (of several to follow) with the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators, the Master Instructors LLC program, and the Flight School Association of North America. Over a dozen other support relationships are either completed or under negotiation to make sure that A-FT possesses the requisite expert guidance necessary to properly support the critical issues facing this community.

"Congratulations (and thanks) to Jim Campbell and the Airborne Unlimited team on their ambitious launch of their new 2020 'Airborne-Flight Training' (A-FT) programming! This is an exciting time in aviation education and our flight-training industry needs this dedicated national focus (and especially the promotion of professional standards). SAFE supports this ambitious vision." - David St. George, SAFE Executive Director.

"The world of aviation training and education is expanding at an exponential rate. Continuing education and professionalism for flight instructors is critical. 'Airborne-Flight Training' will be a valuable tool." -- JoAnn Hill, Master Instructors LLC.

FSANA, the Flight School Association of North America is pleased to be a partner with the Aero-News Network and their new Airborne Flight Training (AFT) program. Robert Rockmaker, FSANA President & CEO stated that, "It is important for FSANA to help support general aviation and the flight training industry to strive for never ending improvement with both form, fit, function and process." Aviation still has a mystique which requires further transparency and FSANA continues to deliver transparency for the industry.
