FlightSafety Gets Citation Longitude Level D Sim Approval

'Super-Midsize' Flagship Gets High-Fidelity Sim Option for Training

TRU Simulation today has been given certification for its Cessna Citation Longitude Full Flight Simulator from the FAA, giving FlightSafety International a high-fidelity training aid for the latest and greatest from Cessna.

The Cessna Citation Longitude Full Flight Simulator is certified as a Level D simulator, giving students a pretty good feel for how the aircraft behaves in flight and in an emergency. The newly approved sim is installed at FlightSafety International’s Columbus, Ohio Learning Center, though FlightSafety offers Citation Longitude pilot training at their Tampa, Florida location too. Those who want to become certified as a Master Technician on the Citation can get a full range of maintenance training at the Wichita Maintenance Learning Center. Both TRU Simulation and FlightSafety formed a joint venture in 2019 in order to provide a stronger training base.

“At TRU, the team is committed to delivering cutting-edge training tools that enable pilots to achieve their goals.
