Alpha Wingman Launches Workforce Management Tool

Mobile App Connects Dispatch Center With Technicians

Alpha Wingman announced that its workforce management platform, Alpha Workforce, has completed beta testing and is now being deployed.

Designed for MRO managers, it enables AOG teams to communicate efficiently and to accomplish maintenance tasks as rapidly as is demanded by the needs of AOG occurrences.

Alpha Workforce is an all-in-one platform built for MRO efficiency and has customizable views to filter and track jobs, tasks, and technicians, assign tasks, and provide real-time communications. Technicians can download the app and instantly link to the dispatch center. The app displays a moving map showing the status of the technician (working, available, off-duty, etc.) as well as assigned tasks.

The capabilities supported by Alpha Workforce allow AOG managers to use key metrics to streamline maintenance operations, tracking, and scheduling, thereby increasing overall operational efficiency.

The company explained in a statement, ““Bombardier’s mobile AOG team was our test bed for the past 12 months as we refined the product, gathered crucial feedback, and ultimately planned the rollout.”

Andy Nixon, President of Alpha Wingman said, “As a sustainably-grown company, we continue to believe in listening to our customers needs, which is how the Alpha Workforce platform came about.

“We were mystified to learn the industry-leading service providers with mobile technicians lacked an efficient way to see and receive updates from their team. With the Workforce platform and the data we can generate, service providers will have the ability to increase margins through improving efficiencies with their technicians and dispatchers.”
