Avfuel Establishes Three New SAF Supply Points

Alternative Fuel Facilities Set Up in New Jersey, Texas, and Florida

Avfuel, a global supplier of aviation fuels, recently announced three new supply points in New Jersey, Texas, and Florida. The company also confirmed its renewed agreement to increase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) volumes across its distribution network.

The facilities in Pasadena, Texas, and Florida’s Port Everglades both established flow in January. The last location, in Linden, New Jersey, was completed on January 31 and is Avfuel’s first committed SAF site on the Northern East Coast.

“We have high expectations for SAF volumes in 2025,” expressed C.R. Sincock, II, executive vice president of Avfuel. “These new supply points are integral to meeting or exceeding those expectations. No longer is SAF landlocked in the West. With the addition of these terminals—particularly those in New Jersey and Florida—we’ve vastly expanded our supply chain infrastructure to significantly enhance SAF’s accessibility.”

The Linden SAF site is based with Heritage Aviation, one of Avfuel’s branded FBO partners. The two operate another eco-friendly facility at Vermont’s Burlington International Airport (BTV). Avfuel and Heritage Aviation expect to receive the first Linden SAF delivery in early February.

The new supply points stem from Avfuel’s earlier deal with Valero Marketing and Supply Company. The agreement, announced at the National Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in October, made Valero a key supplier of blended SAF in the southeastern US.

The blend contains 30% neat SAF and 70% conventional jet fuel. It is produced using the HEFA SPK feedstock pathway by Diamond Green Diesel, a joint venture between affiliates of Valero and Darling Ingredients Inc. Avfuel claims that the alternative fuel can lower lifecycle GHG emissions by up to 80% and up to 24% when blended.

“This supply agreement exemplifies the proactive approach needed to meet the industry’s sustainability goals, providing a practical, scalable solution for operators looking to reduce emissions without compromising performance,” said Joel Hirst, Avfuel’s senior vice president of sales.

Avfuel’s fueling network includes 3,500 worldwide locations and more than 675 branded FBOs. It maintains a SAF supply in 35 locations across 4 countries. The alternative fuel can also be purchased and delivered globally.
