Verticon 2025 Very Productive For Airbus

Tallies 118 Helicopter Orders At Show

Airbus struck a rich lode of demand at VAI Verticon 2025 in Dallas, Texas, with the company’s helicopter manufacturing division announcing multiple orders totaling up to 110 aircraft including options. The final numbers have been announced and now show a total of 118 helicopter orders.

With thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors during the four-day event, Verticon is considered by many to be the world’s largest vertical aviation conference and trade show. The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center opened its doors on March 11 for three days of discussions, networking, and negotiations among the top players in the helicopter industry.

Airbus appears to have made out the best of all manufacturers with a stunning number of orders it signed, with orders for up to 118 aircraft.

During the event, Airbus exhibited PHI Aviation’s H160, a Texas Department of Public Safety’s ACH145, Air Center’s H225, and Global Medical  Response’s EMS-configured H130 on static display.

Airbus Helicopters leveraged the exposure at Verticon to introduce its new H140 helo with Global Medical Response stepping out as one of the launch customers with an agreement to purchase up to 10 EMS-configured aircraft with options for five more on the first day of the show. And this followed an order by GMR for 28 Airbus helicopters in 2024.

The list of orders is impressive, too many to enumerate here but additional buyers included German and Austrian EMS operators ADAC Luftrettung, DRF Luftrettung, and ÖAMTC Flugrettung, STAT MedEvac, Air Methods, Metro Aviation, the UK National Police Air Service, New York State Police, and more. Some of those orders have been described here this week.

The final numbers are in and indeed it was a very good show for Airbus.
