Nominations Sought For HAI Board Of Directors

Elections Will TAke Place In March During Heli-Expo

Helicopter Association International, the leading global resource for supporting, promoting, and advancing the safe and effective use of helicopters, is currently seeking nominations for candidates for the HAI Board of Directors.

Board elections will take place at the HAI Membership Meeting and Breakfast, March 7, during HAI Heli-Expo 2017 in Dallas.
 
In accordance with Article IV, Section 4.01 of the HAI By-Laws, candidates must be nominated to serve a term of three years as directors beginning July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2020, to fill the following upcoming vacancies:

  • Regular Operator Commercial (operators of helicopters for commercial purposes as a principal business): Two vacancies
  • Regular Operator Government Service (federal, state, or municipal government agencies or entities operating helicopters): One vacancy

In accordance with Article IV, Section 4.04 of the HAI By-Laws, when proposing candidates for nomination, please give consideration to the type of operation and geographic location of each nominee to ensure a diverse board.

 If you know of a worthy person to fill any of these positions, please coordinate with a membership representative from an HAI Regular Operator Member. Nominations must be received by Jan. 16 to be considered.
