National Aircraft Resale Association’s Annual Scholarship Awards Hit $25,000

Six Recipients Named To Receive Monetary Assistance

The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) Business Aviation Scholarship program has announced the award of $25,000 in scholarships to six extraordinary students. NARA initiated the scholarship awards in 2014 with donated funds coming from the Brokers/Dealers and Products and Services members.

The NARA Business Aviation Scholarship program was established for university students seeking a career in Business Aviation and, specifically, within the corporate aircraft Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Insurance community. The scholarship winners are chosen from applicants that are full-time graduate and under-graduate students majoring in Corporate Aviation Management, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Systems, Aviation Safety, Finance, Business Marketing, Economics and/or studies that relate to Aviation Business and Management.

“This year we exceeded our expectations with donated funds hitting the $25,000 mark for the NARA Scholarship program,” commented Anthony “Tony” Kioussis, President of Asset Insight, Inc. and Chairman of the NARA scholarship committee. “The aviation students that were selected are very deserving and NARA is committed to investing in future leaders of our aviation industry”

The six 2016 scholarship winners include: Wendylie Alix, Joshua Chancey, Thomas Emery, Christopher Daniels, and Samantha Lindholm, all attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; and Chasity Robinson, who is seeking a graduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

“On behalf of all the NARA members, we congratulate these outstanding students on their awards and we are very proud to help support them in their future aviation endeavors,” stated Johnny Foster, NARA Chairman and President & CEO of OGARAJETS.
