Source: The reason cited by Thielert Aircraft Engines for filing for insolvency Thursday. The enginemaker's board also dismissed company founder and former CEO Frank Thielert, and former Chief Financial Officer Roswitha Grosser, citing information received from the Hamburg Office of Criminal Investigation, in connection with preliminary investigations against management board members of the company over suspect financial statements from 2003-2005.
